Md. Maniruzzaman
Founder & Doctoral Researcher, Space Technology
Biography
Md. Maniruzzaman founded Automatonix to build resilient autonomous systems across space technology, robotics, and security. He leads the BUETSat-1 programme — a modular satellite carrying an encrypted communication module and a cyber-hardened operating system — and has designed CubeSat adapters and antennas alongside backend work on satellite communication systems.
His robotics work spans MSc-level research on object search and retrieval using mobile manipulators, and AILAR, an autonomous agricultural robot designed specifically for Bangladeshi farmland, where heavy rain and river conditions constantly erode the earthen mud lines farmers depend on.
He also built the Automatonix Drone Testing System, a ROS and Gazebo simulation framework replicating ArduPilot and MAVLink architectures to evaluate UAV flight deviation and communication loss under attack conditions, and treats cybersecurity as a core product rather than an add-on across every system Automatonix builds.
